The Assessment Process

Each assessment takes approximately 4 weeks to complete and includes the following:

  • Initial Intake Interview to complete a high-level SWOT analysis and get an understanding of your organization.
  • Stakeholder Roundtable Interviews to get a robust perspective on your data challenges.
  • Technical Analysis of your technology systems and workflows to understand your processes and identify friction points.
  • Actionable Report that outlines the origin of your data problems and strategic recommendations on where to focus to address the issues.

What's included in your assessment?

Every assessment is tailored to your company’s specific needs and goals.

Alongside observations discovered during stakeholder interviews and technical analysis, these are the typical categories of recommendations included in each assessment:

  • Data flow mapping and data architecture
  • Data governance requirements
  • Prioritized options to address the root issue of your data challenges
  • Scope, budget, timeline, and deliverables of each option

What happens after the assessment?

After we walk through your assessment results and recommendations we’ll identify options for how to implement the recommendations based on your in-house capacity and expertise.

Typically, that looks like one of two scenarios:

  1. Strategic Consulting: Our consultants guide you through strategic problem solving, stakeholder engagement, change management, and implementation support.
  2. Strategic Consulting + Development: Our team provides strategic consulting and technology implementation giving you end-to-end support to make the most of your data.
